Win a signed copy of City of the Damned.

Sorry Folks, but it seems that my previous idea on hosting this contest seriously bombed. Therefore, I'm going to try and make this as simple as possible. If you want to win a signed copy of City of the Damned, just post a comment below and include your email address in your post so I can contact the winners when the contest closes.

However, there are still a few rules...

1) You can only enter once.
2) Two signed copies of City of the Damned will be given away, and the winners will be chosen using Random.org.
3) Contest closes on February 14th, 2012 at 11:59 EST.
4) If you aren't comfortable with publicly posting your email address, you can send an email to everlydrummond@hotmail.ca. Be sure to put "City of the Damned Contest" in the subject line.

Good luck!

Forbidden: City of the Damned Book 4

FINALLY! Forbidden is now available. Check my list of retailers to see where you can purchase a copy. It may take a few weeks to show up on some of the retailer's website because Smashwords takes a while to distribute to some retailers, but keep checking back. In the meantime, it's already available on Amazon and on the Smashwords website. Happy reading!

In the forth and final instalment of the City of the Damned series, Sara and Gedeon travel back to South Beach where they spend Christmas with the family and exchange their wedding vows before returning to New York to have the baby. But little do they know what lies ahead. Sara's concern deepens when it becomes evident that Gedeon is hiding something from her. What neither of them realise is that Gedeon's secrets come at a high price. It will cost him something more valuable than anything money can buy. In this riveting conclusion, find out who will live and who will pay the ultimate price for his secrecy.

New covers, same books!

I'm sure many of you are wondering why I've gone through the trouble of changing all the covers for the City of the Damned books. Well, let me explain. I knew that once the 4th City of the Damned book was released, the series would be going to print. I also noticed that there were a lot of reviews mentioning the errors in the first three books. I figured that since all the books were getting re-edited for print, why not update the ebooks as well. So aside from the books being re-edited, they've all got new covers.

I'm still in the process of re-editing the books, but as soon as they're finished, you'll be available to go back to your place of purchase and download the updated copy at no cost. I'll post updates on Facebook and Twitter as they become available.

And now for a sneak peek of the new covers...

The 50 Book Pledge

Last Year I focused a lot of my attention on writing, which meant that many other things got swept under the rug or put on the back burner. What suffered the most was my reading. By the end of 2011 I had a stack on books on my desk that not only collected dust, but were screaming at me to be read. One day while I was on Twitter I stumbled across the #50BookPledge hashtag. Essentially, it's a pledge to read 50 books during the course of 2012. How difficult can it be, right? Well, between writing, editing, the horses, the dogs, and all the other fun stuff I have to do, it can be near impossible to find the time to pick up a book. But this year I'm pledging to read no less than 50 books. You can follow the #50BookPledge hashtag on Twitter to join in the discussion or see what other folks are reading, or you can visit the Savvy Reader website to learn more about the pledge. If you want to see what books I've read, or which books are on my reading list, just take a look below. I'll update the list as the year progresses.
